Michaela's use of recycled glass in jewelry will be part of the juried Metal Arts Guild 70th anniversary show in Toronto. Her necklace design features recycled glass and blue topaz set in silver and gold. Also being shown at the show is a zebra mussel and freshwater pearl ring designed by Ann Lumsden of Kehla Design. It's the "Christmas Kick-Off" in Almonte on November 12 and November 19 when shops will stay open late and offer treats and specials. Kehla joins in on November 19, open until 8 pm, featuring an interesting selection of watches and bracelets. Mulled cider and nibbles as refreshments.
